Three Views of the City

Cool picture of North Philippi from a postcard. A-B is not built, so
it is before 1908. My grandparents told me that when they moved to North
Philippi in 1903, there were only 6 houses, so 1903 would be close for this
picture.

A Philippi postcard. The Methodist Church is there, so the photo is 1905
or later, but the back streets are not paved. Shows the mill just upstream
from the covered bridge.
Nice postcard view of Philippi ca 1910. Unpaved Main Street, old mill
above the bridge.
