This "oldie" was taken by Nicholas Jones on the last day of school at Sand Ridge, around 1910. His brother, Albert Jones, was the teacher. Note from Margaret Lew: Found in the DeLorme West Virginia Atlas & Gazetteer, page 37: Sand Ridge is an area just southeast of Vannoys Mill and west of Meadowville. County Route 40-4 runs by on the southwestern side of it. Both the Sand Ridge and Hunters Fork areas are shown north of Belington on this map.
