Parsons, Feb. 17, 1940 -- Ginerva Jean CARLSON, five-months-old daughter of the
Rev. and Mrs. Earl N. CARLSON, died on Sunday morning at the residence here after
a two-day illness of influenza and pneumonia. Funeral services are to be held at 2
p.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist church with the Rev. Charles C. JONES, of
Elkins, officiating and burial will be in the local cemetery. The child was born
on August 28, 1940, in Parsons, the daughter of the Rev. CARLSON, and Erma JOHNSON
CARLSON. Surviving are the parents and one sister, Erma Joan, 5, and the maternal
Grandfather, Paul M., JOHNSON, of Eastview, Clarksburg. The father is pastor of
the First Methodist church here.
