Obituary: Mrs. Peter Thompson

Clymer, N.Y., Dec. 16. Mrs. Belle THOMPSON, 57 years old, wife of Peter THOMPSON,
died at the family home here Sunday morning, December 13. Funeral services were
held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alvin BENNINK at 3 o'clock Tuesday
afternoon. Rev. Ivan HUNSBERGER, pastor of the United Brethren church of North
Clymer, officiated. Mrs. Myrtle GALLUP and Mrs. Robert WALLACE sang. Besides her
husband she is survived by 10 children, Mrs. Ruth STAHLMAN, Howard, Robert,
Stanley, Glenn and Fred THOMPSON and Mrs. Edna BENNINK, of Clymer; Mrs. Lottie
HAISLIP, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Mrs. Dovie GOLDEN, Grafton W. Va.; Mrs. Mable STEARNS of
Hamburg, N.Y.; also three sisters Mrs. William GASCOCK, Belington W.Va.; Mrs. Nettie
KELLEY, Fairmont, W.Va.; Miss Minta BOYLES, Grafton, W. Va., and three
brothers, Charles, Dowden and Joseph of Meriden, W. Va. Interment was made in the
Clymer cemetery. The following were the bearers: Everill and Orrie COCHERN, Arthur
and Mac HOLLISTER, Edward DOLITTLE, and Dale TRESSLER. C. E. SPITZER was the
undertaker in charge.
