Plans for Military Honor Roll Monument in
Jefferson Township

Since Jefferson Twp., Washington Co., PA is just across the state border –
you may have ancestors/relatives eligible for the following project.

David Gould of the Jefferson Township Historical Society is spearheading
a project of a Memorial Honor Roll of all persons who ever lived in that
township and served in any American war, from the Indian Wars through
the present. This monument according to Wayne Kraeer, a representative
of Gaydos Monument of Canonsburg will be erected on the society’s
grounds near the center of the Village of Eldersville.

Please provide vital details such as full name of veteran, branch of service,
rank, war, in which service occurred, honors received, outstanding war
experiences, full names of parents including mother’s maiden name, and
area of the township in which they at one time resided.
