In the name of God, Amen. I Enoch Leach of the County of Calhoun and State of West Virginia being of sound mind and disposing memory make this my last will and testament viz.
First I desire that my body be bueried in a decent and Christian like manner at Mt. Zion church in this county and I commend my spirit to the tender mercy of the God who gave it.
Second I will that all my just debts be paid.
Third I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Martha Leah, my farm on Daniels run in the District of Lee Calhoun Co., WVa for her sole use benefit and control while she remains my widow and she to keep the said farm cleaned up & in good repair and not to sell any timber off of it and to keep the taxes paid up on it. She is also to have all the personal property she owned at the time of our marriage and bought here with her and all the bed clothing she has made or may make during my lifetime. I further desire and will that she have for her use and benefit a sufficient amount of corn, wheat, bacon and other provisions to do her one year from my death, Also a sufficient amount of cupboard ware and kitchen furniture of her own selection if she wishes to keep house. Also I will her a pale red heifer 2 years old last spring known as the pet heifer and two sheep and their increase if any also one hog of her own choice at the time of my death and all the poultry upon the place which she may desire. To my beloved son Elias Leah I will and bequeath one dollar in addition to the farm I have already given him heretofore. To my beloved son Enoch Leach I will and bequeath one dollar in addition to the farm I have already given him heretofore. To my beloved daughter Sarah Jane Channel I will and bequeath one dollar in addition to what I have heretofore given her. To my beloved daughter Mary Allen I will and bequeath one dollar in addition to which I have heretofore given her. To the children of my daughter Martha Gall deceased I will and bequeath one dollar in addition to what I have heretofore given her. To my beloved daughter Roburter Wood I will and bequeath one dollar in addition to what I have heretofore given her.
I further will and bequeath that in the case of the marriage or death of my widow Martha Leach that any land herein willed to her be equally or equitably divid between my three daughters Sarah Jane Channel, the children of my daughter Martha Gall deceased, and Roburter Wood and her children And in case they cannot agree upon any equitable division of the land I will and bequeath that it be sold and equally divided between them that is Sarah Jane Channel, the children of my daughter Martha Gall decds, and Roburter Wood and her children. I further will and bequeath that all the rest of my personal property not herein named willed and bequeathed be sold and equally divided between my daughters Sarah Jane Channel Mary Allen Roburter Wood and her children and the children of Martha Gall decsd but provided that Wm. Wood shall fail to pay to my son Enoch Leach the amt he Enoch Leach shall pay for the son Wm Wood as his security (for which a deed of trust is now on Enochs land to secure) then and in that case only I will and desire that so much of the personal property heretofore named to fall to my daughter Roburter Hood and her children upon the division herein named as may be necessary to be applied to the payment to said Enoch Leach for the amount so paid by him. I hereby constitute and appoint David R. Polling of the county of Calhoun and state of West Va. executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I have signed, sealed, published and declared this instrument to be my last will and testament at my home in Calhoun County WVa on the 19th day of August 1886.

The said Enoch Leach at his home in Calhoun Co. WVa on said 19th day of August 1886 signed and sealed this instrument and published and declared the same as and for his last will and testament. We at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto written our names as subscribing witnesses.
