CARRIE OSBORN

The grim monster Death, has again visited our neighborhood and taken for his victim little Carrie Osborn, four year old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Osborn. Carrie was their only child which leaves a lonliness which no one can know unless they are likewise unfortunate.

The writer is able to extend to the bereaved a heart felt sympathy, for in like manner our only child was taken from earth to heaven. And, now, as little Carrie is gone on before we can not hope to call her back, and would not if we could. But let us trust in the Lord and try to meet her in that home of the soul where sickness, sorrow, pain nor death are felt and feared no more.

Carrie Osborn was born Feb. 23, 1907 died Jan. 23, 1911, aged 3 years 11 months.

Her death was brought about by pneumonia fever. Her remains were laid to rest in the Old Bethlehem cemetery, there to rest and await the coming great day where in a moment in the twinkling of an eye we all shall be changed.

God's Angel who comes down to earth,
So often from on high,
To visit homes both rich and poor,
And name the one to die,
He's no respector of mankind,
He'll summons all to come,
Then let us all get ready here,
To live with him at home.
