"Calhoun Chronicle" - Grantsville, WV



Pearl E. Zimmerman, 63, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died Friday, Nov. 4, 1994. She was born in Tariff and had been a resident of Cuyahoga Falls since 1960. She was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church.

Surviving are her husband, Harry; a daughter, Sandy Mayhew of Cuyahoga Falls; her mother, Hazel Brannon; a sister, Myrtle Grace Carpenter; and a brother, Richard Brannon, all of West Virginia.

Services were held at McGowan-Reid & Santos Funeral Home, Cuyahoga Falls, with Pastor Roland E. Coffey officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.

"Calhoun Chronicle" - Grantsville, WV



Oliver A. Zwoll, 90, died Monday, May 1, 1995.

He was born in Oakland, Md., and had lived in the Akron, Ohio, area since 1925. He was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., and was a member of Wedgewood United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Merle (Paul) Mullens of Florida and Marla Zwoll of Akron; a daughter-in-law, Edna Zwoll of Orma; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Isabelle Treherne of Byesville, Wilhelmina Zwoll of New Philadelphia and Alice Haver of Dayton; two brothers, Roscoe of Columbus and Gilbert of Summit Station; several nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Chloe Alfred of Orma.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ermel, and son, Oliver A., Jr., in 1990.

Services were held at Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home, Akron, with Rev. Karen C. Hartley officiating. Burial was in Hillside Memorial Park.
