In the name of God, Amen. I Isaac Richards of Sheridan District in the County of Calhoun and State of West Virginia, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made,

first, I order and direct my executors as may be after my decease or as soon thereafter as may be practicable to pay of and discharge all the dues and liabilities that may exist me at the time of my decease. Second, I give and bequeath to my wife Margaret Richards as hereinafter provided. - third - I give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Richards the undivided half interest in boath my real estate and personal property except a certain tract or parcel of land heretofore sold to my son Joseph Richards supposed to be one acre be the same more or less the deed for same is now alreddy prepared for acknowledgement. fourth - I give and bequeath to my daughter Rachel Richards the other undivided one half of boath my real estate and personal property less the peace of land above named that was sold to my son Joseph Richards. I further provide that the above named Joseph and Rachel Richards shall keep my son Camden and Harrison Richards with them on the farm where I now reside. - fifth I further give and bequeath unto my son John Thomas Richards four dollars and there being all my heirs at law, the two first named shall have full controll of all the aforesaid personal property and real estate and the said Camden and Harrison Richards shall live with the said Joseph and Rachel Richards on the farm and assist them in working on said farm at such times as they are not attending the free schools and I make it obligatory upon the aforesaid Joseph and Rachel Richards to give or let the said Camden and Harrison Richards have all the benefits of the free school in the district where they belong until they become to mature age or the age of 21 years then the said Joseph and Rachel Richards are not to be at any further expense of supporting the two named Camden and Harrison Richards. I further require of the two first named heirs that they shall equally give my wife Margaret Richards her full and free support during her natural life or as long as she remains my widow and remains on the farm, but in the event should she remarry again she forfeits all of her right for support or any interest whatever in any estate heretofore mentioned and I further give or bequeath that I have applied to govement of the United States for pension and should my claim for said pension be allowed before my decease - that the same shall be equally divided between my four heirs namly Joseph Rachel Camden and Harrison Richards, each to dispose of there interest as they may see proper after they attain the age of 21 years old except as before mentioned the two first named herein, Joseph Richards and Rachel Richards are to give my wife Margaret Richards her full and free support during her natural life or as long as she may remain my widow and on the farm where I now reside - Sixth - I hereby nominate and appoint Robert Means my executor to settle up all my business. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 3rd day of August in the year of our Lord 1885.

The above and foregoing instrument was at the date thereof signed sealed published and declared by the said Isaac Richards as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his preasence and in the preasence of each other have subscribed our names as witness.
