Eddie D. Starcher, 2139575, USMC Reserve on active duty died 15 November 1966 vicinity Danang, Republic of Vietnam as a result of gunshot wound sustained from rifle fire while on patrol. Discharge Record Book, Calhoun County Clerk's Office, Grantsville, Calhoun County, West Virginia.

CALVIN G. WILSON, U.S. Army

Submitted by Martha Wilson Conrad, daughter.

Calvin G. Wilson retired April, 1972 as an E-7 from Ft. Eustis, VA, after more than 20 years of service in the U.S. Army, including two tours of duty in Vietnam. After his retirement, he moved with his family back to Calhoun County, WV, where he lived until his death in 1977.


VICTOR HADDOX was honorably discharged from the Army after serving in Viet Nam.

HOSEA DALE HADDOX was a PFC 1962 VIR COMD UNIT.


GEORGE W. RICE, U.S. Army

George W. Rice was born in Calhoun Coutny and had two tours of duty in Vietnam, 1967 and 1969. He retired in August 1978 after serving over 23 years in the Army. His family had moved from West Virginia, so he moved to Blytheville, Arkansas where his wife was from. They have two sons.
