I, Andrew J. Wood of the Township of East Orange in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey do make and publish this instrument of writing as and for my last will and testament. I give all my estate real and personal (if any I have) to my wife Julia A. Wood. I constitute my said wife sole executrix of this my will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth January in the year Eighteen hundred and eighty two.

Signed, sealed, published and pronounced and declared by the Testator as his last Will and Testament in our presence who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our names as witnesses.

Essex County, SS. One of the witnesses to the annexed writing, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Andrew J. Wood the Testator Therein named, deceased says that he saw the said Testator sign and seal the said annexed writing and heard him publish pronounce and declare the same as and for his last Will and Testament. That at the time of the doing Thereof the said Testator was of sound disposing mind memory and understanding as far as this deponent knows and as he verily believed: that Ida M. Mills the other subscribing witness thereto was present at the same time with this deponent and together with him subscribed her name thereto as a witness in the presence of the Testator and of each other, at the request of the Testator and that said Testator died more than ten days ago.

Essex County ss. Julia A. Wood the executrix in the annexed writing named being sworn on her oath says the annexed writing contains the true last Will and Testament of Andrew J. Wood the Testator therein named, deceased as far as she knows and as she verily believes:

that she will as the Executrix thereof will and truly perform the same first by paying the debts of said deceased and then the legacees therein specified as far as the Goods Chattels and Credits of said deceased will thereunto extend and the law charges her that she will make and exhibit into the Surrogates office of the County of Essex a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the said Goods, chattels and Credits as far as the same have or shall come to her possession or knowledge or to the possession of any other person or persons to her use to her knowledge and that she will and truly account when Thereunto lawfully required and that said Testator died on the 19th day of September last. Sworn October 5 1882 before me.

State of New Jersey Essex County Surrogates office. I, C. Meyer Zulick Surrogate of the County of Essex do certify that annexed to be a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Andrew J. Wood late of the County of Essex, deceased, and that Julia A. Wood the Executrix therein named proved the same before and is duly authorized to take upon herself the administration of the estate of the Testator agreeably to the said will. Witness my hand and seal of office the fifth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty two.

Meyer Zulick Surrogate of the County of Essex and Clerk of the orphans Court of said County do certify that foregoing to be a true copy of the record of the last Will and Testament of Andrew J. Wood deceased and that said Will has been proved in conformity with the laws of the State of New Jersey. In the vacation of the County Court of Calhoun, in the Clerks office of said Court on Monday the 20th day of April 1885.

This day William H. Harris offered to me George W. Silcott clerk of the County Court of the said County, a paper writing purporting to be an authenticated copy of the last Will and Testament of Andrew J. Wood of the Township of East Orange in the County of Essex and State of New Jersey bearing date on the 14th January 1882 and the certificate of probate thereof in the Essex County surrogates office in the said State of New Jersey on the 5th day of October 1882 for probate in the said County Court of Calhoun County, where upon I the said George W. Silcott clerk as aforesaid do hereby admit such copy to probate as the Will of the said Andrew J. Wood deceased of his realty and personalty in the said County of Calhoun in the State of West Virginia and it appearing that the Executrix named in the said will is not a resident of the State of West Virginia I do hereby appoint James P. Knight Sheriff of the County of Calhoun administrator with { } of the said Andrew J. Wood.
