Seeking info on a Henry Adkins who died in early 1970s. Lived I think around Meadow Bridge. Was a preacher and a coal miner. I think his mothers name was Virginia or Jennie Adkins. He possibly was born in Summers County.This would be one of my great uncles. He had several brothers and three sisters. One brother was Hunter Adkins my grandfather in Summers County. Looking for information on one of my g-grandfather's sons. His name ws Francis Marion Bone. My g-grandfather deeded him a piece of land in Boone County and a note on the deed at the courthouse said that the deed was sent to F.M. Bone, Mt. Carbon, WV. Any information on him or descendants would be greatly appreciated. Information that I have is that he was born in North Carolina in 1861 and died about 1891. He was supposed to have married a Mary Conley and Elizabeth Clay.

I am looking for any information on my great great grandmother, Lucinda J. (Evans) Davis. She married T. L. Davis, (also known as Tibertis or Tiburtus), on 3 June 1886 in Raleigh County. She gave birth to my g-grandfather, Charles (Charlie) Luther, in Fayette County, on 27 September 1889 and had at least one more child on 20 December 1891. The second child I only have listed as "A." I don't have any specifics on this birth. My gg-grandfather, T. L. Davis left Fayette County sometime in the very late 1800s, and ended up in Idaho after a brief stay in Walla Walla, WA and another longer stay in Wallowa, OR. Lucinda and the child/children didn't go. If anyone has any information that may lead to some background on Lucinda, I would really appreciate it. I can't seem to find a thread of her past and it would sure be nice to find something! Anything at this point! Thank You!

I am looking for information on a Forrest D. Hannah I believe was from Fayette County, WV. I am pretty sure this Forrest Hannah served in WWII with my uncle. My uncle was the Squad leader and Forrest Hannah was in his squad. My uncle was killed in action on June 14, 1944 in Normandy, France. Forrest Hannah was wounded around July 18. 1944 in France. I am looking for Daniel Wards father which I think was William. Daniel was indentured to a man by the name of Andrew Wadsworth who took him to Mason County Kentucky, probably in 1804-1810. Daniel was only 7 years old at the time. He married Rachel Martindale in 1820.They lived in Chili and Laketon Indiana. I would like to find out about William Ward which I located in 1794 in the census in Mason County and haven't been able to locate him after that. I am open to any suggestions or help. I am looking for information on Samuel L. Davis and any ancestors/decendants. I have some limited info that I will gladly share with anyone that needs it, but there are a lot of holes in my information for this line of my family. He was married to Seana O'Neal, (I have found numerous spellings of her name), he had a son named Tibertis Lee, (I have eleven children listed in my research), and the dates I have are B: 1843, D: 1923 and M: unknown. I am also looking for information on Christopher Columbus Linville. He may have been married to Cora Sue Powell(?). His first wife was Mamie Green Stover.He worked for the rail road and may have moved to Fayette County sometime in the early 1920s or so. I found some Coleman graves at the top of the mountain above Hopewell Baptist Church in Fayette, County, WV. Julia Ann Coleman b. 1868 d. 1948. There was "Mack" A.M. Coleman b. 1865 d. 1936? The last was Ben Coleman. There were some of my Hammond ancestors, John M., Daisy, and Don Stanley Hammond and a Henry Silas Ruloff also was buried there. These were the only graves up there. Would any one know why they were buried up there all by themselves?
