Nessley Chapel Cemetery
Paris Cemetery Damage

FYI, there was an accident Nov. 18, 2010 in the Paris Cemetery, Washington Co., PA; removing a long swatch and a numerous number of headstones along the length of the old Steubenville Pike. This cemetery is located just across the Pennsylvania state line, east of Weirton and contains many burials from the Tri-State area. The news article does not begin to cover the extent of damage and loss.

Please visit this "News Article" while it lasts.

The truck came to a stop at this point in the northeast part of the cemetery approaching
the state line into Weirton, Hancock Co., WV.

The truck entered the cemetery where these two individuals
are walking in this photo. Behind them is the north border of Paris, PA.

Clearly there were more stones where the indentations appear
when I took the photos, and where the pole was repaired.
