In the name of GOD, Amen, I William Stewart of Hancock County & State of Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind and body, do make this to be my last will and testament, as follows: I desire that my body many be buryed at the direction of my executor, herein-after named, and I direct that all my just debts be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as may be convenient.
1st, I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Elisabeth, in testimony of my sincere regard and affection for her, all my messuages, lands & tenements whatsoever, situate lying and being in the County of Hancock or elsewhere, with their appurtenances, for and during her life, and after her decease, I desire that ll of my estate bothe real and personal, be put to sale and devided as hereinafter discribed, except 75 acres of the N. West part of the farm, on which my son Benjamin now resides, and which is discribe by plot of survey, which I have heretofore given him as his portion of my estate. I give William S. Stevenson (son of Sampson an Rachel Stevenson, my daughter now deceased) one hundred dollars to be paid to him on his attaining the age of twenty -one years, and if he should not arive at that age, the money shall be divide among my remaining heirs. It is my will that George W. Stewart, James Stewart, William Stewart, Elisabeth Stewart, Mrs. Mary Allison, and Isabel Stevenson shall receive each alike protion of the procedes of the sale of the estate, and it is my desire that George, James, William, Mary & Isabel shall pay to Elisabeth fifty dollars each for the kindness and good attention given to her parents by her since they have left home to do for themselves. I also desire that she may have whasoever household furnature she may claim. And I give to Sampson Stevenson one dollar, and I do hereby nominate and appoint James & Benjamin Stewart my sons, to be by executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereoff, I, the said testator, William Stewart, have to this my last will set my hand and seal this 4th (?) day of June in the year 1856.

SUSANNA PRIEST

Sept. 20th, 1899
Wintersville, Jeff. Co. Ohio.
I, Susanna Priest, being in my usual health, and of sound mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of life, do hereby give and bequeath to my two sisters Eliza Priest and Caroline Priest, at my death, after all my expenses are paid, the balance of my estate both personal and real, to have and to hold, or sell or exchange for their own personal benefit, share and share alike as they best see.
When either one shall be taken away the same to go to the one that is left on the same conditions.
This being my last will and testament, to take effect without administering or further trouble.
To which I hereunto set my hand and seal.

I, Susanna Priest, since writing above have moved to Grant Dis't, Hancock Co., W.Va. and still wish the foregoing to remain the same as when written no matter where my property may be found. My will is still the same. Dec. 19th. 1905.

I, R.R. Hobbs, clerk of the county court of the county aforesaid, do certify that the foregoing writing is a true copy of the last will and testament of Susanna Priest, together with the order admitting same to probate and record, which was duly admitted trecord on this, the 3rd day of August, 1926.
