ALUM - BANK 1870 Cemetery
The Alum-Bank cemetery is located on Moores Run Road, 0.3 miles from its intersection with Rt. 259 in Wardensville, Hardy County, WV. In addition to the transcriptions that follow, there are many field stones that serve as grave markers, but which do not contain any inscriptions. Several stones are triangular in shape and mark graves, but do not contain any inscriptions.

At the entrance to the cemetery is a plaque which reads:
