To locate this cemetery, go down Moores Run Road from
Rt. 259, 1.9 miles. It is on the vacant lot between
the Perry residence (in 2007) and the Shartzer residence
(in 2007) and is across Moores Run Road from an open
field immediately before the turn to Warden Lake Hollow.
There are no headstones -- only five to six field stones.
Based on Godlove family records, two of the people buried
there are:
Francis Godlove
Abt. 1744 - 1835
Maria Godlove
Maria was the wife of Francis Godlove. Francis was the
progenitor of the Godlove family in Hardy County.
