This census was taken by Clifton and Lila Funkhouser in 1979. They recorded many Hardy County cemeteries and generously wanted their work made available to the public; therefore, they gave a copy to the Hardy County Public Library. It is reproduced here with permission from the Library.

Located on Carl Welton hill South of Moorefield in back of the old Huffman house and just to the left of the house owned by Ethel Liggett (in 1979). These two people were the grandparents of H. E. "Bootie" Hutter.
