This census was taken by Clifton and Lila Funkhouser on October 8, 1979. They recorded many Hardy County cemeteries and generously wanted their work made available to the public; therefore, they gave a copy to the Hardy County Public Library. It is reproduced here with permission from the Library.

At the Dayton Bradfield place (in 1979) about one mile past Lost River Sate Park on the Branch Mountain Road toward Moorefield on the high hill above Dayton's barn south.
