The German Ancestors of the Idleman Family
Records collected by Sigrun Börkel
Sigrun Börkel contacted me in June, 2007 with the generous offer to share the records of
the Eitelmann/Idleman family ancestors in Germany. She has been corresponding with her
American Idleman "cousins" and wanted to make these records available for others who are
descendants of Conrad Idleman of Hardy County.
Thanks to Sigrun, the vital information is translated for us and the following is a summary of the
the records.
