
.... assign a certain tract of land lying and being in said County of Hardy on Pattersons Creek Mountain adjoining the land of McNeils heirs and McMechen heirs and bounded as follows Beginning at a sugar in McMechens heirs lines on the cedar knob thence N69-W124 poles to a black oak and chestnut oak in McNeils line then with his line N15-E67 poles crossing a drain to some chestnut oaks then leaving said line N31-E122 poles to two white oaks on the east side of the top of the mountain thence at N70-E36 poles to a large white oak and two red oak sapling in McMechens line thence with the same S32-W115 to the Beginning containing sixty two acres more or less .....
