This Deed made the 2nd day of December in the year of our Lord 1867 Between Elizabeth Wilson, a sister of Jacob Willis Jr.decd. and Mary Jane Trentor the only heir of Catherine Trentor decd. who was also a sister of the said Jacob Willis decd. formerly of the County of Hardy and State of West Virginia and now of the county of Green and State of Ohio of the first part. And John Willis of the County of Grant and the State of West Virginia of the second part: Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty Dollars in hand paid by the party of the second part, the parties of the first part do grant and convey unto the said John Willis all of their right, title and interest in and to a certain lott (sic) or tract of land, situate lying and being in the county of Grant and the State aforesaid on the East side of Patterson's Creek, and on the West side and base of Pattersons Creek Mt. which lot of land was awarded to the said Jacob Willis Jr. in the division of his father's estate which division is of record in the County Court of Hardy County, State of West Virginia, the parties of the first part excepting their interest in the aforesaid tract which is held by Hannah Willis, now Hannah Cornell, the widow of Jacob Willis Jr.decd. as Dower in said land, which Dower lott as aforesaid the parties of the first part does not convey to the party of the second part in this deed being excepted as herein before excepted, but conveying their interest of said lott to the party of the second part with General Warranty
