Mt. Hope Church of God Cemetery

Jackson County, WV

The Cemetery has two major ways to enter. First_and best_is to drive from the junction on Rt. 33 & CR-21 in downtown Ripley East bound for 6 miles and turn left on CR14 "Joes Run"_go 1/2 mi. to the "Y" intersection_turn right and go 3 miles to top of the hill and the Church. The other way_longer_is from Sandyville_take Trace Fork CR14 for 6 miles to the top of the ridge_turn right on CR-14/5 a dirt road for 2 to 3 miles till you come to a paved road coming up the ridge from the other side (which is Joe's Run)_turn right and go 1/2 mile to the white church. This Cemetery has about 138 graves with a chain link fence and flag pole. Very well kept. This cemetery reading and photos were provided by Keith Weekley
