Silverton Cemetery


Location: At Silverton
Directions: From Ripley, traveling north on I-77, take the exit for Rt 33 and Old WV 56. Turn left onto Rt 33, go under I-77 and take the first left, Silverton-Hemlock Road. Cross over Sandy Creek and the cemetery will be on the right side of the road.

This cemetery was photographed by Clement Matheny on October 11, 1010. The cemetery is located next to the road and the graves are located on the hillside by the road, then the terrain dips to creek level and rises again on the other side, where there are more graves.
