Be it remembered that I Jacob Altmire of Benwood Marshall County State of West virginia do make this my last will and testament in -- and from following that is to say: I order and direct that all my Just debts shall be paid with convenient speed, to my beloved wife Margaret Altmire I give bequeath and devise all my property, both real and personal situated in Benwood Marshall County State of West Virginia, and all other property both real and personal that I may have or die possessed of. I hereby revoke all former wills heretofore made by me, and I do hereby constitute my son Peter Altmire as my sole Executor and I desire and direct that my said Executor herein named shall not be required to give bonds. In Witness Whereof I the above named testator have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 20th day of December 1875. Jacob Altmire
Then and there signed sealed and published by Jacob Altmire, the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as Witnesses

A paper witnessing -- date of December 20th 1875 was this day fully proved by the oaths of John Healy & A. L. Pelley the subscribing witnesses thereto & is ordered to be recorded and Peter Altmire the executor therein named identified as such by taking the oath required by law no bond being required of him by the terms of said will. Thereupon certificate is granted to said Peter Altmire for obtaining a probate of said will in due form. --Wm -- Clerk
