* Rebecca May died 1940 and is buried at the current LDS Church Cemetery on Nauvoo Ridge. [contributor unknown]

The death record of Rebecca May indicates she was buried 3 Mar 1940 in Shepherd Cemetery. According to Lorna Clegg, "The * for Rebecca May is wrong. She is buried in the McCoy Cemetery. The cemetery must have been called the Shepherd cemetery because William Shepherd (Clarence Mason's Uncle) owned the farm when Jerry May died in 1913. Who ever did the death certificate for Rebecca must have put the same cemetery name that was used for Jerry's death. We always called that cemetery the Chambers cemetery because there are so many Chambers buried there and then it was changed to McCoy because the McCoy's bought the farm from Dad. Leonard Davis from Glen Easton copied this cemetery."
