(This is a partial will.) Book 2 page 384 1890 (Henry or Harry?) I, Harry, C, Roberts of the City of Moundsville County of Marshall and State of West Virginia do make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills heretofore reads in manner and form as follows to wit. First I will that all my past debts be paid soon after my______ ? out of my estate by my executrix as may be convenient for her so to do. Second I hold a note for $400. on my father bearing date January 1st 1890 payable in one year from date, with interest, this note I give unto my son Harry Hanson Roberts that is the principal The $400. and the interest on the same to be collected annually by my Executrix from my father JC Roberts for the support and maintainance of the child. Said $400 Dollars to be paid when the said Harry Hanson Roberts becomes 21 years of age, but should the said child die before he becomes 21 years of age, then his mother Emma V. Roberts shall have the whole amount for herself absolutely. Third I devise unto my dear wife Emma V. Roberts all the residue of my property, real personal and mixed that I own and She to dispose of the same as She may desire the full power being hereby given her for that purpose. Fourth I hereby appoint my dear wife Emma V. Roberts Executrix of this my last will and testament and She is not to be required to give any bond whatever concerning my estate nor to appraise any of my property.
