The last will and testament of Lazarus Rine of Marshall County State of Virginia. In the name of God Amen. I Lazarus Rine considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory (Blessed be Almighty God of the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say. First I desire that of the personally property of my be sold after my decease if not money to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses if there should I leave it to the will of my beloved wife to do as she think's best
1. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary all my personally property and estate to do as she may think best only she must pay all debts. I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary my lands to have her life time after her deceased to be equally divided among my 7 children John, James & George, Elenor & Agnis Burton, Mary & Febe.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary one hundred dollars after the deceased of my wife of the estate then to be eaqueal with the others and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife Mary my sole executor of this my last will and testament -- hereby revoking all other or former wills or testaments by me heretofore made.
In witness thereof I have hereunto set my had and affixed my seal this Eleventh day of December one thousand Eight hundred and forty seven of the year of our Lord.
Signed sealed published and declared by Lazarus Rine as and for his last will and testament in the presence and hearing of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses..

The last will and testament of Lazarus Rine deceased was proved by the oath of John M. Myers one of the subscribing witnesses thereto. And the cause continued for proof of the other subscribing witnesses to be had...

The last will and testament of Lazarus Rine deceased was again produced and proved by the oath of James Ramsey another subscribing witness thereto and is ordered to be recorded. And on motion of Mary Rine the executrix therein named who made oath thereto and together with Edward Gregg her security who qualified to this sufficiency, entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $2000.
Conditioned as the law directs.
Certificate is granted her for obtaining a probate of the said will in due form.
