Marshall Co, WV Will Book 2: I Mary Jane SIVERTS being of sound mind but frail of body do make and publish this my last Will and testament-1st I desire that my farm shall be sold by my executor and after paying my just debts + expenses the proceeds of the sale shall be divided equally among my children with the exception that I desire my executor to pay out of the proceeds of the sale to Della May ADAMS the sum of ($5.00) five dollars and to hold in his hand and put at interest the sum of thirty dollars for the use and benefit of my grand daughter Bessie Pearl CONNER the principal to be paid to her when she is 21 years of age. All my personal property and household good I give and bequeath to my two youngest daughters Sinia Bell SIVERTS and Ruhanna Virginia SIVERTS. I hereby constitute and appoint My Son in law John GRANDON Sole Executor of this my last will and testament with full power to sell and convey my real estate. Witness my hand and Seal this 18th day of September 1891. Signed by the testator in our presence and declared Mary Jane SIVERTS (seal) by her to be her will and Syned her X mark by us as witnesses in the presence of the testator and in presence of each other this 18th day of September 1891. The last Will and testament of Mary Jane SIVERTS late of this county deceased was this day fully proved in open Court upon the oaths of B. F. KIRBY and Jas. C. CONNELLY the subscribing witnesses thereto and is admitted to probate and ordered to be recorded, and John GRANDIN the executor in said will named is granted lean to qualify and give bond as such executor at some future time.
