In the name of God Amen I Thos McCrery of Ohio County State of Virginia being very sick & very weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and Recommend my soul to God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the deneral Resurrection I shall Receive the same again by the might power of God & as touching such worldly estate Wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give demise and dispose of the same in following manner & form, first I give & bequath to Margt. McCrery my wife - - the third part of all goods and chattles that I now possess & the third part of a tract of land conveyed to James McCrery containing 178 acres whilst she lives and as for my son Willm. McCrery he possesses and has the share of estate already in his own hands my son Thos. McCrery purchased a certain piece of land of me containing one hundred and seventeen acres on which there is part due therefore I bequeath the same balance to the same Thomas McCrery my daughter Mary Dunlap has got all that I intended my daughter Jane McCrery I will and bequeth one Red heifer two years old and hir wearing apparel bed and bedding, Margret McCrary one White heifer two years old. Elizabeth McCrery I will a bed and bedding hir wearing apparel & a small spinning Wheel I therefore ordain this my to be last will and testament all & singular to be possessed and injoyed, & I do hereby utterly disallow & disannul all & every other former testaments will legacies bequests by me in any wise mention willed & bequeathed ratifinging & corfirming this & no other to be my last will & testament in Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 23d. day of Aug In the year of our Lord 1802, Signed sealed published & pronounced & declared by the said Thos. McCrery as his last will and testament in the presince of us Who in his presence & in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names,
