This indenture made the thirteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one between Thomas Wright of the county of marshall and State of Virginia of the one part and Benjamin Wright of the county of Green and state of Pennsylvania of the other part witnesseth that the said Thomas Wright for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold …… ….. released and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain. Sell. al.. ..eoff release and confirm unto the said Benjamin Wright a certain part of a tract of land laying and beginning on the head waters of Grave Creek And bounded as followeth viz, Beginning at a white oak corner to John Taer (?) and with his line east one hundred and fifteen poles to a stake. Thence south seventeen poles to a beach thence east twenty five poles to white oak, thence North one hundred and thirteen poles to a small Black Oak in R G Howards line thence South Eighty four and one half degrees west -one hundred and forty two poles to a gum. Thence South Eighty two poles to the beginning containing eighty acres. Together with all and singular the buildings improvements woods ways waters. Watercourses right liberties privileges …. And appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging in any wise appertaining and the remainders … profits thereof and also all the estate right tile property claim. and demand whatsoever of the said Thomas Wright in law or equity or otherwise of in and to the same. to have and to hold the described part of a tract hereby mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances. Unto the said Benjamin Wright his heirs and assigns power and the said Thomas Wright covenant promise and agree to and with the said Benjamin Wright by these resents that he the said Thomas Wright and his heirs the said described pat of a tract of land with the appurtenances unto the said Benjamin Wright his heirs and assigns against him the said Thomas Wright and his heirs will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
