Will of John Mills, 17__ - 1833

Ohio County, Virginia, Will Book 3, Pages 114-5

	In the name of God Amen. I, John Mills, of Ohio County and State of
Virginia being of sound mind and of disposing memory do make and ordain
this my last Will and Testament.

	First, I will and bequeath unto my beloved Wife, Ruth Mills, all my
house hold and kitchen furniture that I may have at the time of my decease,
also my negro men George and Charles together with all other personal
property that I may have at my decease, to have and to hold the said
property above bequeathed unto my said wife, Ruth Mills, for and during
her natural life and after the death of my said Wife I will and bequeath
my man Charles to my son Moses Mills, his heirs and assigns forever, and
the balance or residue of my said property above bequeathed I bequeath to
my sons John Mills, Moses Mills, and my daughter Rachael Wallace, their
heirs and assigns forever.


	Second, I devise to my said Wife Ruth Mills my home plantation being
the same on which I now reside to have and to hold the same together with
all and singular the tenements hereditments and appurtanances to the same
belonging or appertaining unto her my said Wife Ruth Mills during her
natural life and after the decease of my said Wife I devise the same to my
sons John Mills, Moses Mills and my daughter Rachael Wallace, and their
heirs and assigns forever.

	Hereby revoking all others I do make and ordain publish and declare
this to be my only last Will and Testament and I do appoint my friends,
John Miller and John A. Good, Executors thereof. Witness my hand and seal
this 19th day of October 1932.

	The last Will and Testament of John Mills deceased is presented in
Court and proved by the oaths of John Good & Moses C.   Good, witnesses
thereto, and ordered to be recorded.
