Drowned - The Kanawha Republican of Wednesday last, brings word of the death of William T. Beale, of Point Pleasant, VA in an attempt to rescue Mrs. Lewis and her daughter, who had fallen into the river., by the upsetting of a skiff.. Mr. B. was well known in this city was a most estimable young gentleman, and his death will prove a sad stroke to his aged parents. The ladies were rescued, by the proprietor of the Point wharf boat. Mr. B.'s father is a present a member of Congress.
