George B McClintock Sr, 66, 803 27th Street, Point Pleasant, died
Tuesday, 3:1_ pm in the Cabell-Huntington Hospital.
He was a pension member of the electrical union IBEW, Huntington,
and a veteran of World War II.
He was born March 16, 1912, Letart Falls, O., to the late Frank
and Veatrice Sayre McClintock.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Pickens McClintock; three sons,
George B McClintock Jr., Point Pleasant; Donald E McClintock,
Spencerville, O. and Ronald E McClintock, Chesapeake, O.; two
brothers, Otis McClintock, Racine and Robert McClintock, Norwalk,
O.
Arrangements will be announced by the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.

Services Held For Leon Man
Services were conducted Sunday for Darell Lee McClure, 44, Route
1, Leon, who died Thursday during open-heart surgery at Presbyterian
University Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The funeral was conducted in the Smith United Methodist Church
with Rev Warren Baker officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
He was a horse trainer and attended the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Krause McClure; two daughters,
Marlene of St Petersburg, Fla., and Brenda of Atlanta, Ga.; parents,
Mr. and Mrs. John McClure, Rt. 1, Leon, and one brother, Harley
of Columbus.
The Casto Funeral Home, Evans, was in charge of arrangements.

McDade Rites Set Friday
Carl Edward McDade, 71, 214 Poplar St., Point Pleasant, died Tuesday
morning in Pleasant Valley Hospital.
He was a retired employee of the C&O Railroad and attended
the Pine Grove and Pleasant Valley Churches.
He was born on Feb. 26, 1907 in Mason, to the late George and
Rose Roush McDade. He was preceded in death by four children and
two grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Macel Denny McDade; two sons, Owens
Lee McDade, Point Pleasant; Wayne McDade, Middleport; four daughters,
Mrs. Sally Sue Nibert, Mason; Mrs. Patricia Jordan, Mt. Alto;
Mrs. Ruth Jordan, Point Pleasant; Mrs. Wanda Jordan, Leon; three
sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Rollins, Letart; Mrs. Myrtle Matheny, Leon;
Mrs. Nellie Belle, Morgantown; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday 2 pm Pine Grove Church,
Leon with the Rev. Herman Jordan and Rev. Jack Finnicum officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home today after
7 pm.

He was born March 5, 1924 in Mason County, to the late George
W and Rosa Nuckles McDaniel. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Judith Austin, Lorain, O.;
two sisters, Mrs. Arenis McDonald, Point Pleasant, and Mrs. Mary
Louise Rice, Homa, La.; one brother, Frederick McDaniel, Huntington;
four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Friday 10:30 am in the Crow-Hussell
Funeral Home with the Rev. Bryan Blair officiating. Burial will
be in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Marvin M Mullens, 62, Bradbury Rd., Middleport, died Monday afternoon
in Veterans Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 10, 1916 in Point Pleasant to the late Mr. and
Mrs. Francis William Mullens. He was a member of the Grace Bible
Baptist Church and veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Queen Mullens; two sons, James
Edward Large, Springfield, O. and Jackie Lee Large, Middleport,
one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Kay) Willet, Middleport; three brothers,
William Mullens, Circleville; Wilson Mullens, Springfield, and
Roy Mullens, Mt. Sterling, O.; one sister, Miss Lillie Mullens,
Gallipolis; ten grandchildren.
The funeral will be Thursday 2 pm at the Grace Bible Baptist Church
with the Rev. Kenneth Coleman officiating.

on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm and until noon on

Hospital.
Born June 1, 1908, in New York, she was a nurses aide at the Schaekel
Clinic, Mason, for many years.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mason.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth R Oldaker, Rochester,
Pa., Mary Barbara Nolige, Mason, Fredericka T White, Dunbar; one
son, Herbert A Ord, High Point, N.C.; one sister, Mary C Viers,
Hollywood, Fla.; one brother, George A Jefferson, Winfield; seven
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, in the St Joseph Catholic
Church, 11 am with the Rev. Raymond Jablinske officiating. Burial
will be in the church cemetery.
Rosary services will be held Sunday, 7:30 pm at the Foglesong
Funeral Home.

Death Claims Mason Resident
Lillian M Reitmire, 84, Mason, died Thursday in Pleasant Valley
Hospital.
She was born on April 13, 1894, Trenton, N.J. to the late William
and Georgian Howard Woods.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Reitmire in 1969
along with a son and brother. She was a member of United Brethern
Church, Stewart Johnson VFW Auxiliary, and the Feeney Bennett
American Legion Auxiliary, Middleport, where she served as chaplain
for several years.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Thelma May Sayre, Mason;
one grandson, Alan Sayre, Mason; four great-granddaughters and
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:30 pm in the Foglesong
Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Mahoney officiating. Burial will
be in Graham Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 pm.

Illness Claims Earl F Riffle
Earl Franklin Riffle, 73, Point Pleasant, Route 2, died this morning
in Holzer Medical Center after a three-month illness.
He was a retired employee of the West Virginia Malleable Iron
Co. with 34 years of service. He attended the Eddy Chapel Church.
He was born June 2, 1905 to the late Norman and Cora Roush Riffle.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Clara Margaret Flowers
Riffle in 1932 and his second wife, Carrie Mae Connolly Riffle
in 1975.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elva Durst and Mrs. Roma Jordan,
both of Leon; three sons, Curtis Franklin (Tank) Riffle, Pomeroy;
Leroy and Charles Riffle, both of Point Pleasant; one sister,
Mrs. Bee (Mary) Jordan, Leon; four brothers, James Riffle, Mr.
Alto; Edgar and Lou Riffle, both of Leon and Harry Riffle, Ravenswood;
19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday 1:30 pm in the Wilcoxen Funeral Home
with the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the
Eddy Chapel Cemetery, Leon.

He was a retired molder at the W.Va. Malleable Iron Co. with 45
years service. He was also a charter member of the Krebs Chapel
United Methodist Church.
He was born Jan. 18, 1904, Pliny, to the late Andrew and Viola
Birchfield Riffle.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Rainey Riffle
in 1969.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Peters Riffle; one daughter,
Mrs. Virginia Randolph, Point Pleasant; one son Pearl H Riffle
Jr., Point Pleasant; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Clifford Berkley,
Columbus; Mrs. Charles Cooper, Clarksburg and Mrs. Carl M Simpkins,
Gallipolis; three half-sisters, Mrs. Mildred Brown and Mrs. Nora
Elliott both of Point Pleasant; Mrs. Nellie Nott, Barberton, O.;
three half-brothers, Alva Luckeydoo, Letart; Williard and Millard
Luckeydoo both of Point Pleasant; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren;
one great-great-grandchild.

Paul E Richie, 54, 405 First Street, Point Pleasant, died Friday
at his home.
He was born in Cabell County on August 3, 1923.
A veteran of the United States Navy, he was a retired construction
worker.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda, one daughter, Dorothy Meadows,
Huntington; one son, Gary Goodrich, Huntington; five grandchildren;
three stepdaughters, Mrs. Gloria Carroll, Weirton, WV; Mrs. Carla
Dunn, Henderson and Mrs. Dreama Hodges, St Albans; two stepsons
Steve Black, Point Pleasant and Elza Black, Quantico, Va.; six
step-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, Tuesday
10:30 am with the Rev. Joe Gwinn officiating. Burial will be in
Dock Creek Cemetery.

Health Care Nursing Home in Parkersburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alda Otto Rollins, in
1962.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Virginia O Williams, Belpre,
Ohio; two sons, Walter T Rollins, Gallipolis, Ohio and Kenneth
O Rollins, Letart; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Terry, Ewington, Ohio,
and Mrs. Myrtle Cummings, Akron, Ohio; three brothers, Fred and
Harry Posley of Ewington, Ohio, and Wirt Posley, Akron, Ohio;
nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Letart Guiding Star Advent
Christian Church, which she was a member of, on Saturday at 2
pm. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Van L Roush, 94, Letart, Rt. 1, Union Community, was pronounced
dead on arrival Sunday evening at Pleasant Valley Hospital.
He was born June 14, 1883, Letart, a son of the late George W
and Jane Bush Roush.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kelsie Florence Roush in
1962.
He was a farmer and carpenter and a member of the Union United
Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Virginia M Kay and Mrs.
Attarah F Dewhurst both of Letart, Rt. 1; one son, Douglas R Roush,
Letart, Rt. 1; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 2 pm in the Union United
Methodist Church with the Rev. Bobby Woods and the Rev. John Icenhower
officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Foglesong Funeral Home today from 2 to
4 pm and from 6 to 9 pm. The body will be taken to the church
one hour prior to services.
