Glenn Huffman, 65, of Rt. 2, Letart, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1992, in Pleasant Valley Hospital.
He was a farmer.
Born July 11, 1927, in Letart, he was a son of the late Clarence D and Myrtle Mae (Winebrenner) Hoffman.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Adkins of Letart; two daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Carol) Click, Cottageville, Mrs. Joe (Sharlotte) Pitrolo, Nitro; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Shelton and Susie Huffman of Northup, Ohio, Delton and Brenda Huffman of Letart, Larry Huffman of Letart; a sister, and brother-in-law, Doris and Julian Gunnoe of Huntington; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Hoffman, and one grandchild.
The funeral will be Saturday, 1 pm, at the Foglesong Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, 6 to 9 pm.

Perry C Jeffers, 69, of Southside, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1992, at his home.
A World War II Navy veteran, he was a member of the Stewart-Johnson VFW Post 9926 of Mason, American Legion Post 23 of Point Pleasant, Harmony Baptist Church, and was a farmer. He also served as a carpenter, and was employed at M&G Towing and by the West Virginia State Road Department.
Born Oct. 11, 1922, in Southside, he was a son of the late James Perry and Sarah Chapman Jeffers. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Noah C and John R Jeffers, a grandson, Allen, two brothers and a sister.
Surviving are his wife, Ida (Hudson) Jeffers; seven daughters, Janet Watson of Point Pleasant, Doris Stanley of Southside, Debbie McDade of Southside, Kathy Leport of Henderson, Karen Dill of Southside, Terry Mundell of Cross Lanes, Lynn Lett of Southside; three sons, James P, Allen L and Dearl E Jeffers, all of Southside; a sister, Betty Jane Dunn of Point Pleasant; brother, Richard W Jeffers of Southside; 28 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday, 11 am, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred McCallister and Pastor Don Saxton officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery, Southside, with military graveside service by the VFW.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, 7 to 9 pm.

Hester Dotson Schultz Jones, died Monday, May 25, 1992, at her home following a long illness.
Born, October 24, 1924, in Majestic, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose E. Jackson Dotson. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Frederick Elmo Schultz and Walter Jones, three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Carlos Thomas of Pettysburg, Ohio; three sons and daughters-in-law, Frederick and Ronnie Schultz, Columbus, Ohio, Johnny and Ella Schultz, Point Pleasant, Roy Schultz of Point Pleasant; two stepdaughters, Kathleen Skeens, Torrence, California, Dorothy Smith, Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Virginia Williams of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, one great granddaughter, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a special friend, Vicky Smith of Hometown, WV.
The funeral will be Wednesday, 1:30 p.m., at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. Burial will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Letart.

George D "Bud" Keener, Jr., 69, of Point Pleasant, and formerly of Gallipolis, died Sunday, Sept 27, 1992, at the Humana Hospital in Ormond Beach, Fla.
He was a semi-truck driver and a retired plumber for Carter Plumbing of Gallipolis. A member of the VFW Post 4464 in Gallipolis, he was a World War II veteran.
Born May 15, 1923, in Grafton, he was a son of the late George D and Lillie (Zumbro) Keener. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Ileene (Doss) Keener, who died May 5, 1987, and by three sisters, Sarah White, Ada Knapp, Margie Coleman, and two brothers, Kenneth and Jackie Keener.
Surviving are seven sisters, Frances Beller of Point Pleasant, Mary Grace Jackson and Sue Hoschar, both of Dunbar, Jo Lou Alt of Davison, Mich., Nina Keener, Troy, Mich., June Avis of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Myrtle Hogsett of Raleigh, N.C.
A memorial service will be held Friday, 2 pm at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with Rev. Orville White officiating. Interment will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 2 pm before the service.
Military graveside service will be held by the VFW.

Charles Kiesling, 65, 144 Ann Dr., Gallipolis, died Monday, Sept 21, 1992, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 7, 1928 in Letart, W.Va., son of the late Waldo and Ruth Cummins Kiesling.
He was the manager of Dale's Smorgasbord in the Silver Bridge Shopping Plaza, and a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Dunn Kiesling; two daughters, Christi Reynolds and Andrea Kiesling, both of Gallipolis; one son, Mark Kiesling of Columbus; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Henry Kiesling of Bidwell.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, J Wilmer Circle, and one brother, Robert L Kiesling.
Services will be held 11 am Thursday at Cremeens Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Holley officiating. Burial will be in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the chapel from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Wednesday.
