and a licensed practical nurse at Lakin State Hospital. She was
a former employee of Quality Manufacturing, Point Pleasant, and
Oscars Restaurant, Gallipolis. She attended General Assembly of
the Body of Christ, Letart, W.Va.

Fotiadis of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; one stepgrandchild;

POMEROY - Walter M. Grueser, 78, of 300 Riverview Drive, Pomeroy,
died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Ohio State University Hospital
in Columbus.
He was born July 30, 1922, in Mason, W.Va., son of the late Adolph
and Clara McIntosh Grueser. He was co-owner and operator of Second
Street Market from 1947 to 1957, and was an agent for Midland
Mutual Life Insurance. He was a member of Trinity Congregational
Church, Pomeroy Masonic Order F&AM, Knights Templar, Aladdin
Shrine and Pomeroy Golf Club, was past president of the American
Heart Association and the President's Council, and served on the
church council.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Kimes Grueser; a son and daughter-in-law,
Walter II and Carol Grueser of Stewartsville, N.J.; a daughter
and son-in-law, Claudia "Kandi" and Phil Cook of Thornville;
sisters and brothers-in-law Mary and Bill Russell of Pomeroy,
and Howard Tucker of Chepachet, R.I.; grandchildren, Amanda Sue
and Matthew O'Brien of Brookline, Mass., and Brandon K. Cook of
Morgantown, W.Va.; and a great-granddaughter, Makenzie Claire
O'Brien of Brookline.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother;
brothers Adolph and Charles Grueser; and sisters Clara McMaster
and Ann Tucker.
Services will be held Friday, 1 p.m., at Trinity Congregational
Church, with the Rev. Craig Crossman officiating. Burial will
be in Beech Grove Cemetery.

She was a retired medical records technician at St Mary's and
a member of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Reinhold "Ron" Guenther;
her mother; one sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Jerald
McCallister of Williamstown; one brother and sister-in-law, William
E and Alice Blessing of Harrisonburg, Va; seven nieces and nephews;
and four great-nephews.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Henson Mortuary
in Huntington and from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Crow-Hussell Funeral
Home in Point Pleasant.

Myrtle M. Guenther, 61, of Barboursville, W.Va., died Saturday
at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington. She was an outgoing Christian
who was dedicated to mission work in the church and community.
She was highly energetic, quick with a smile and a friend to all
she met. Mrs. Guenther was born April 29, 1939 in Point Pleasant,
W.Va., the daughter of Annis, of Point Pleasant and the late Roy
E. Blessing. She was a retired medical records technician at St.
Mary's Hospital and a long-time member of Pea Ridge United Methodist
Church, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and
helped the Quilter's Guild every Wednesday. She was a member of
United Methodist Women, Sunshine Circle and served as an officer
in the Western District United Methodist Women. She also served
as a board member of the West Virginia Advocacy for the Developmentally
Disabled and was also an organ donor. She was the devoted, loyal
wife of Reinhold (Ron) Guenther of Barboursville. Other survivors
include her mother; one sister, Delores (Jerald) McCallister of
Williamstown; one brother, William E. (Allene) Blessing of Harrisonburg,
Va.; four foreign exchange sons, Clause Justensen of Denmark,
Sven Arnolds of Germany, Thomas Heingarten of Switzerland and
Axel Bergt of Germany: seven nieces and nephews - Carole McCallister
of Columbus, Ohio, Susan (John) Richards of St. Albans, Anne (Thomas)
Moore of Springfield, Va., Laura McCallister of Columbus, and
David McCallister of Columbus - who she took loving pride in helping
to raise; and four great-nephews. Funeral services were conducted
Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at Pea Ridge United Methodist Church,
Huntington, and burial on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Suncrest Cemetery

POINT PLEASANT - Lloyd C. Loudermilk, 77, of Point Pleasant, formerly
of Charmco, died July 21, 2000, in Frankford after a short illness.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator in road construction
and an operating engineer with 35 years' service. He was a member,
deacon and Sunday school teacher at Jackson Avenue Baptist Church,
Point Pleasant.
Surviving: wife, Louise Burns Loudermilk; daughter, Barbara Seldomridge
of Frankford; son, Gaylen M. of Charmco; two grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum Chapel,
