In Memory

In Loving Memory of my Mother Elizabeth McDaniel, went to be with
the Lord July 9, 2002
It takes a Mother God gave me a Mother, in life he gave her to
me on a cold December day. As my Mother raised me with Dad by
her side. I began to see a Loving caring Mother that God gave
to me.
She shared my joys, She shared my pain, She kept me in out of
the rain. She made me happy when I was sad and corrected me when
I was bad, and now I can honestly say she was the greatest friend
and Mother I ever had. God gave me a Mother a wonderful Mother
he gave me, and now my Mother sits at the Right Hand of God around
a table of Gold. Where the sun is always shining and the cold
winds don't blow. In life there's no other can take the place
of my dear sweet Mother. Miss you, I love you and always will.
Written by Daughter Connie E Clinton with love to all friends,
family and neighbors, sorry I didn't get this in sooner, I deeply
appreciate the support, prayers, cards and food and just being
there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God bless
you all. Connie E Clinton.

If love could reach to Heaven's shore,

My heart would build a bridge of love.
One wide enough for two.

When we will never part.
Until that day we meet again.

NEW HAVEN - The family line of Charles and Millie Fry Roush ended
on Jan. 5, 2003, with the passing of their last child, Ralph Waldon
Roush. Born on May 11, 1913, Ralph was one of eight children born
on Sliding Hill in Mason County. His siblings included Gladys,
Walter, Loren, Fred, Thelma, Neva and Bill.
In 1932, Ralph married Iva Florence London from Syracuse, Ohio.
This union produced four children: Charles Joseph, Mary Kathleen,
Patricia and James Waldon. Charles passed away in infancy. Mary
Kathleen "Katie" died in 1999. His wife Iva died in
November of 1973.
Ralph led an interesting life. His employment included driving
a milk truck for Blossom Dairy. He was a brakeman for the railroad.
Throughout his life, Ralph was both an amateur and professional
carpenter.
Ralph served his country in the European theater during World
War II. He was decorated with various medals including the Purple
Heart. Following his service to his country, Ralph became a member
of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. These
memberships ran for over 50 years.
Ralph married again to Ila Mildred Zerkle Anderson Roush on July
7, 1975. Mildred survives him today. In addition to his wife,
Ralph is survived by his daughter, Patty; his son, Jim; stepchildren
Jane Wright, James Zerkle, Bob Anderson, and Gladys Dye; grandchildren
Michael Hern, Cynthia Graham, Bonnie Gilbert, Troy Hesson, and
Lisa Richie; and 15 great-grandchildren. One grandson, Shane Hesson,
preceded him in death in 1996.
Ralph's entire family has a piece of mind with the knowledge that
Ralph accepted Christ as his savior and was baptized. Ralph was
a member of Bechtel Methodist Church. The family rests knowing
that the time apart from their husband, father and grandfather
is temporary.
A private family funeral service took place on Jan. 7, 2003. Friends
may send condolences on-line at www.andersonfh.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home
of New Haven.
