My grandfather, Arthur Erwin Robertson came from Mercer Co., WV, to Lee Co., VA. According to marriage record his parents W. H. and Margaret Robertson, & he was born Pride, WV, 1876. I remember he had a brother John. Remember someone in family named Rhomelita (not sure of spelling), someone had a son named Cordell. Hope to trace his ancestors.

ESKINGS, TAYLOR, WRIGHT -
I am researching a member of the Eskings family. The 1910 Census head of the household in Mercer County, WV, Beaver Pond District was John W. Taylor age 32 and his wife Ida May Eskings Taylor also age 32. Their 3 sons age 10, 8, & 5. Ida's mother, Sarah Caroline Wright Eskings, age 56 and her son, George W. Eskings age 25. John W. Taylor was listed as working as an Engineer on the Railroad and George W. Eskings was listed as a Boiler Maker at the Railroad Shop. They were in 1900 living in Wise County, Va. at that time the head of the Household was Jerome W. Eskings who was 60 in 1900 Wise Co. Census and worked as a Carpenter. John Taylor was a Coal Miner. I don't know if Jerome died in Wise County, Va. or Mercer County, WV. I have lost the family for the present time. I need the death date of Jerome W. Eskings and his wife Sarah, information on their son George W. Eskings. Also I need help on John Taylor and his wife Ida May. All help will be deeply appreciated. Thank you,
