POE -
I found my gg grandparents, Henry/Jane Poe, listed on the 1880 census for Mercer Co.,WV
(Beaver Pond) living with his son Thomas. I'm trying to find when & if they died (I figure about
1888) in Mercer Co. Thank you.

BRUCE, GOODALL, HALE -
I am researching the Bruce family who lived in the Mercer County area from @1850 to 1954.
My line back goes from: (self) d of Charles Randolph Bruce and Bobbie Helen Bruce,
grd of Charles L. Bruce and Lula Mae Goodall, ggrd of William Bruce and
Martha Hale Bruce. Am interested in hearing from anyone who is researching this
family or who may have known one of us or a relative. We are suppose to have a "cousin on
every hill" in that area. Would like to trade stories with others. I lived in Princeton
the first part of my life (1941 to 1953). Have many memories of this town.

Hello, I am interested in finding out more information on Capt. Isaiah A. Welch of
Bramwell WV. Who was his wife and did he have any children? He was a surveyor and Welch, McDowell
County , WV was named after him. I believe that he was the son of John Welch and Elizabeth
Arnold of Braxton, W VA and the brother of my gggrandmother Jemima Welch. Isaiah
worked for Pocohantas Mining Co. He is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Bramwell, Mercer WV.
Thank you for any help
