I am looking for My great grand Father's descendents. His name was Harvey Preston Lewis, married to Ella Mae Scott. My grand mother was born in Bluefield in Mercer Co. Jan 30, 1902 Her name was Thelma Lewis. She went to Colo. and Married James Clifton. Her brother and sisters were Lottie, Francis Lewis, James, Robert, Clarence, Helen and Matilda Lewis. Harvey is buried I am told in Oakvale Thank you

I am researching the MATHEWS family name. My great-grandfather had a place in Bluefield, W. Virginia where he cut granite to make tombstones. While living there, my grandfather went to join him. In a diary that belonged to my Great Great Grandmother, she rights "Jack <my grandfather> and Shirley came here <to Sunapee, New Hampshire> on November 17, 1928 by car and stayed until November 23, 1928." But...we do not know who this Shirley is. Can anyone help with this information??? My grandfather's name was John Warren "Jack" Mathews. I am seeking infromation on John Floyd Bailey who was born November 30, 1882. Mr. Bailey was my maternal grandfather and I know was a resident in Mercer County as my Mother (Chlorine J. Bailey) was a graduate of Matoka High School. My Grandfather died in either 1970 or 71 and is buried in Princeton. Any information would be very welcome. Thank you, TJ Blair Jr

I am trying to develop information on the following people: John Newman b. Sep 11, 1885, d. Sep 1973. Wife: Gunnel Amanda (Larson) Newman, b. Jan 20, 1888, d. Jul 1980. They lived at 215 College Avenue, Princeton, WV. John owned and operated a hardware store in Princeton. They had a son John Newman Jr. He and his wife lived in Princeton in 1972.
