Am searching for the earliest records of Moye of Mercer County. My dad's family were from the Camp Creek area. I was raised in Mercer County, however, never got much information on the Moye ancestral tree. Only what my dad could tell me before his death. Father: Corbet Wilson Moye. .... Seeking information on my maternal grandparents, James Farris and Nona Belcher Farris, who ran Farris Grocery in Duhring in the 1940s through 50s. Nona's brother Willard Belcher was a Princeton dentist; they had a brother Eslie who lived in Florida. I'm new to this, so anything to go on will be welcome.

I am interested in any information on The Carper School. It would have been in the Princeton area. My mother, Anna M. BJORK and some of her siblings lived in Oney Gap near Princeton and attended this school c.1925-1930. My grandmother, Margaret Jane BJORK, nee RATLIFF, was married to August Bjork who came from Sweden. They loved in Oney Gap near Princeton and raised their family there. My grandmother's sister Minnie Ratliff SNIDER (Charles) lived in Princeton. Their brother was Mark Wallace Ratliff m. to Julia CAPERTON. I would appreciate any information on any of these names. I am seeking any information about my great grandmother, Rebecca (Fannin) Workman, born about 1850 in Wayne County to Silas M. and Mary Fannin. After her divorce from my great grandfather, Reece Workman, in 1877, we have had no information on her except we were told that she remarried.
