ELLARD -
I am looking for any information I can find on the ELLARD name. My 3rd great grandparents
were William A. J. ELLARD and his wife was Allia or possibly Alean. They were in Mercer
County, WV in 1865 when they registered the birth of their son William K. ELLARD

BURRESS -
Richard Hobart BURRESS was born in Mercer County, WV on 13 Jul 1912. He is my father. I
don't know much about his father. I think he was born in Bland County, VA, but at some point he
must have come to Mercer County, since his son was born there. Richard's father is Clarence Estel
BURRESS. I believe he worked on the railroad as an engineer. I know he later moved to
Tazewell County where he bought a home in Bluefield, but where was he married, etc.?
