I am seeking information about a WATSON family that lived on Bland Street in Bluefield about 1880-1900. The wife's family name was supposedly WOLTZ and the first names are unknown. I don't know if this was Bluefield, WV or in Va. The family had three daughters and possibly more children. The known daughters are Georgia who married a Brown, Mary Elizabeth who married John Hicks and Blanche who married a Jones. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Searching for information on my paternal grandmother Rissie Hylton Lawson. Born around 1894 lived/died in the Matoaka/Rock area. Probalby died in mid 1950s. May have been born in Mercer County also although my fathers birth certificate just says 'county'. Married Taylor Lawson and had 3 children that lived to adulthood - Beulah Lawson Green/ Greene, Zelphie Lawson (married name unknown) and my father Alvin Taylor Lawson. Would appreciate any info. Looking for proof of the parentage of John SHANNON b. abt 1800, died Mercer Co. by date of his will on 14 Mar 1866. He was married to Margaret E. Caldwell. His brother's name was William Shannon and William was married to Sarah Ann Caldwell. William born 1806, died before 1880. Both moved to Mercer Co in 1850s. Any one out there know their parentage?
