FORT ASHBY CEMETERY
The original
survey of the Fort Ashby Cemetery was performed by the Conservation
Corp during the depression, ending in approximately 1935.
Two
transcriptions of the cemetery are now available.
Ron McAvoy, his
daughter Mary and Betty Bane Dzubba completed one section and Bill
Pyles and his grandson, Chris Marshall completed another section.
These have been combined with the Conservation Corp survey.

The Fort Ashby
Lions Club has completed the entire cemetery, and have donated their
survey to the Mineral County USGenWeb Project. Darrell Bradshaw, a
member of the Fort Ashby Lions Club and one of the surveyors has
stated that the Lions Club are happy to make their survey available
to all.
