HARRISON, WEST VIRGINIA

A village on the Western Maryland Railroad and the North Branch of the Potomac River, at Emory Run, Mineral County WV.
It was named for Benjamin Harrison, twenty third president of the United States. He was a friend and business associate of Henry G Davis, the founder of the Western Maryland Railroad, and occasionally visited this region.
