Council meeting at Beaver Run Church is opened with singing and prayer. also the 12th chapter of Romans is read. After same discussion on motion, it is decided that William Leatherman with Isaac W Leatherman as assistant, are clerks, to record the business of the meeting of paid church. Except some notes or transactions the church think it not proper to have recorded. |

Decided to send two delegates to district meeting, at Luney's Creek upon which David B Arnold and Isaac W Leatherman are chosen. |

Decided to have deed recorded for the land that Adam Prophet now lives on. |
|
4th |
Church decided after a long consideration, that members dissatisfied with a member or members for conforming to much in the fashions or customs of the world, shall inform the Elders who shall admonish the aggrieving parties. |

5th |
Church expels Charles Whiteman from the church upon his not complying with a former decision of the church. |
|
6th |
Also decided that John Jewell Jun is expelled from the Church for not complying with a former decision. |
|
7th |
Church decides not to allow members to distill liquor. |
|
8th |
Church is agreed to a change of line between Beaver run Church and Greenland Church. |

Church decided that there be an Election for a minister. |
|

Edward Bailey is charged with sueing for slander, he acknowledges
the charge is true, The church decides that he shall take the suit
out of court, and pay his own cost then if the opposing party is
willing he may arbitrate the case , he is also required to
acknowledge that he gave in contradictory evidence in his statement
to the church. |

Edward Bailey calls for a reconsideration of the charge of contradictory evidence. Deferred. |

Edward Bailey reads a list of questions, and reads a number of charges partially against the church, but no case is given. |

3rd |
Church decides to send the following query to the district meeting. Has a brother a right to sue for character - and what shall be done in case a brother has sued for character and the suit is pending. |

contradictory or false evidence in Peter Arnolds estates |

A dissatisfaction about brethren wearing beard on the upper lip
and shaving off the rest. |

Silas Izer asks privilege to defend a case in law. |

A charge against Margaret Clindintz for committing adultery. |
|

Decided to donate 3$ to the Danish(?sic) mission. |

Decided - On a line between Beaver Run church and ? church. The line to commence at Sions Mill, running across the mountains through Snacktown gap, thence down the ridge north east of Joshua Rinkers and Edward Whiteman Sr, crossing mill creek above Elijah Highs, thence, up Sandy hollow through the land of Harriet Highs, Same course continued to the county line, thence with a strait line to (?Pierces) Mills, thence with the top of furnace mountain, to the grant county line. |
