First Quarterly council called and met on Saturday
March 6th 1880
Council opened by singing and prayer and reading
the 12th chapter of First Corinthians.

Decided to send two Brethren as delegates to district meeting. Daniel B Arnold and George S Arnold is elected as delegates to the district meeting at German Settlement. |

Decided to not install Brother John W Leatherman to the office of Ministry, to which the church called (or elected) him in June council of 1879 on account of bad health and other reasons. |

Second Quarter council called and met on Saturday
June 5th 1880
Council opened by singing 171st hymn and reading
the 13th chapter of Hebrews, and some explanation from the same.

2nd day of October 1880.
Council opened by singing 195th hymn and prayer and
reading the 18th chapter of Matthew and some explanation from the same.

A charge against Bro James T Whiteman for manifesting a
disposition to fight, also, that he used profane language, |

2nd |
Decided - To give the liberty to sell horsefeed, bread, meat, pies, cakes, apples and candy at the time of the Communion meeting. All parties selling under this decision are strictly forbidden to anything except the articles named. |

3rd |
Decided - That bro John W Leatherman be appointed solicitor and collector for the treasury of the Domestic and foreign Mission work of our general brotherhood. |

Fourth Quarterly council called and met on Saturday
1st day of January 1881 (ought to have been called in December 1880)
Council opened by singing 282nd hymn and prayer,
and reading the 13th chapter of first Corinthians.

A charge against Brother David Riggleman of stealing, swearing and fighting. He was not present at council. But the church thought the evidence sufficient not hold him as member. |

The committee visited Brother John Whiteman (as the 2nd quarterly council of June the 5th 1880, decided in the 3rd query or charge) he acknowledged he was to (?sic) in saying what he did and desired to be retained in the church. |

The committee appointed to levy and collect money to pay church house debt, report that they collected the money and the debt is paid. (The 2nd Quarterly council June 5th 1880, 4th Decision) |
