We the undersigned committee have made an estimate of the money needed in the treasury for the use of the church this 1st day of January 1886.
Each member to pay a capitation tax of 25 cents. And on each members property 3 1/4 cts per $100 valuation.

Council opened by singing the 84th hymn, prayer and reading the 1st chapter of the Acts and some remarks from the same.

Case 1st

Sister Mollie Swadley requests she be dismissed from being a member in the church.
Church Decides to grant her, her request.

Case 2nd

To Elect delegates to the district meeting to be held at the Beaver Run Church on the 16th and 17th days of April 1886.
Church Elected John W Arnold and John W Leatherman as delegates to district meeting.

Council closed by singing 111th hymn and prayer.

Council called and meet on Monday the 4th day of October 1886.
Council opened by singing the 230th hymn, prayer, and reading the 12th chapter of Romans, and some remarks from the same.

Case 1st

Church decides that Sister Maggie Rawlings is expelled from the church as a member.

Case 2nd

Church decides that Sister Melinda Izer is expelled from the church as a member.

Case 3rd

Church decides that two Brethren David B Arnold and Frederick Biser, visit Sister Harriet High, and if she will not agree to comply with the Gospel, and order of the church in covering her head, and also in not wearing Jewelry, that she will not be held as a member.

Council closed by singing the 115th hymn and prayer.

Council called and met on Monday the 6th day of December 1886.
Council opened by singing the 282nd hymn and prayer, and reading the 12th chapter of Romans and some remarks from the same.

Case 1st

Brother Peter Arnold asks permission to collect a debt on a man by the name of Goosman.
Church Decides that Brother Peter Arnold may collect it by law.

Case 2nd

Bro Ed Bailey sues Brother Calvin Rogers at law.
The church considers the case and makes the following requirements of Bro Bailey. That he pay back to Bro Calvin Rogers the ten dollars that he had paid Bro Bailey to compromise. And that he (Bailey) make a hearty acknowledgement of his wrong in bringing suit against Bro Rogers. And that he promise not to resort to law with any one without consulting the church first. Also, the church appointed a committee of five brethren to settle the difficulty between these two brethren, in reference to the fence and watering gap, and the decision of the committee be final. Bro Bailey complies with the requirements of the church and both agree to abide the decision of the committee. Committee appointed Bro Frederick Biser, bro Adam Carnell, Bro John W Kline, Bro David Biser and Bro William Emmart.

Case 3rd

Bro Ed Bailey wants permission of the church to collect by law a debt off of Perry and Joseph Biser.
Church advises that Bro Bailey give more time and use much forbearance in trying to collect the debt.
