We the undersigned committee have made our estimate of money needed in the treasury for the use of the church, this 2nd day of January 1888, each member to pay a head tax oF 25 cents and each members property 3 1/4 cts per $100 valuation.

Council called and met on Sunday the 2nd day of
April 1888.
Council opened by singing the 282nd hymn and prayer
and reading the 12th chapter of 1st Corinthians and some remarks from
the same.

Case 1st |
Will not this District meeting change and modify, the former
decisions relative to missionary reports. So that the churches will
be required only to report actual missionary work without including
home or Local expenses for other purposes, in said report. |

Case 2nd |
Will not this district meeting adopt a plan; by which the minutes of said meeting may be furnished for a reasonable compensation for the different congregations or to all persons wishing the minutes. |

Case 3rd |
Will not this District meeting consider the proposition set forth by the Editor of the Gospel Messenger in his editorial in No 13 of that paper. But it is not our request that this be sent to annual meeting. |

Case 4th |
An Election is held for two (2) delegates to District meeting. Church election Brethrens George S Arnold & Solomon Biser. |

Case 5th |
Church decides to make a request for the District meeting to be at Beaver Run Church in the year 1889. |

Case 6th |
Church appoints Bro Taylor Arnold as collector of Church taxes. |
|
Case 7th |
John W Leatherman reports he sent $5.15 to the foreign and domestic mission fund January 2nd 1888. |

Case 8th |
Church Decides to furnish Sister Martha Biser, what is needful at present and also, after this in case of Polly Prophets sickness, and to compensate her for her trouble. |

Council closed by singing the 199th hymn and prayer. |
Council called and met on Monday the 8th day of October 1888.

Church decides to pay Bro Frederick Biser for making coffin & box for Sister Polly Prophet $9.00. |

Brother John W Leatherman reports he sent or forwarded to the Missionary work $6.00 this 18th day of July 1888. |

A charge against Bro Joseph P Carnell for inditing George Arnold
after Compromising the matter by receiving ten dollars for the act of
pulling up plants in J P Carnell's garden. |

Church decides to pay Sister Martha Biser what she charges (that is $7.00) which makes $28.00 in all for taking care of Sister Polly Prophet. |
