of the money needed in the treasury for the use of the church this
4th day of Jany 1890.
Each member to pay a head tax of 25 cts & each
members property 3 1/4 cts per $100 valuation.

1st Quarterly Council called & met March the 17th 1890 meeting opened by singing the 282 hymn and Prayer & reading the 12th chapter of Romans.

Case 1st |
Annie V (Shiel - crossed out) Shoemaker who was formerly expelled for adultery came before the council confessed her faults, promised to do better & asked the church to forgive her & to receive her back into church fellowship the church considered her case & received her into fellowship again. |

Case 2nd |
Bro D R Leatherman is appointed by the Church as Clerk to act in the Place of Bro Wm Leatherman who is unable to longer serve on account of his illness. |

Case 3rd |
Bro J P Carnell charged with swearing & lying & drinking. Bro Joseph is not present but the church acts in his case, the charges are sustained & the church decides to disfellowship him until he reforms. |

Case 4th |
Geo S Arnold, John W Leatherman & Peter Arnold elected as delligates (sic) to Destrict (sic) meeting to be held at the Freeland Church in Preston County. |

Case 5th |
Bro J W Leatherman presents a receipt from D L Miller, Mt Morris Ill, for $8.00 missionary money sent him from this church for last half of 1889. |

Case 6th |
The church appoints D B Arnold & G S Arnold to get from the clerks office the wealth of the brethren for 1889 to present the same to Destrict (sic) meeting as requested by last destrict (sic) meeting. |

Case 7th |
A Call from J C Judy on South Mill Creek, Grant Co, o assist the Brethren there to erect a church house considered. Bro Jacob McDonald is appointed as solisitor (sic) but first he is to communicate with Bro Judy and ascertain certain information in regard to building a church there. |

Case 8th |
The church renews their request from last year for the next D meeting 1891. |

Case 9th |
The church decides to adopt the general rule of appointing all the meetings at 11 |
The Quarterly Council called & met May 20th. Meeting opened by singing the 283 hymn & prayer & reading the 13 chap. of 1st Cor.

Election for the Deacons, the lot fell on Brethren Geo Leatherman & Taylor Arnold who was duly enstalled (sic) in their office. |

Case 2nd |
The church decides that the church it is wrong to do the church visit on Sunday this matter to be sent to District Meeting next spring. |

Meeting closed by singing hymn 119 & prayer. |
The Quarterly Council called and met Oct 6th 1890, meeting opened by Singing the 320th hymn and prayer and reading the 6th chapt of Gallation.

Case 1st |
James T Whiteman charged with having James Ludwick Prosecuted by Law for killing his hog violating our church Principles. Said charge sustained the church asked Bro James to acknowledge that he did wrong in not going to church which acknowledgement was made for both wrongs. |

Case 2nd |
Ordered that Trustees paint doors & windows. |

Case 3rd |
Ordered that Trustees put up flues as if they think best - to use Teracota (sic) Pipe to use it. |
|
Council closed by singing the 110 hymn and prayer. |
The Church met in Council Nov 1st 1890. Meeting opened with singing hymn 282 & prayer and reading of the 12 chapter of Romans with remarks from the same by by Bros Solomon Biser & Wm George.

Difficulty existing between Bros George Biser, Wm Urice &
Sister Catharine Urice, after hearing the evidence the church advises
them to submit it to a committee of 7, six of their choice - one of
the committee to which they agreed as follows. |
