FIRST METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH
SUBSCRIBERS
List of subscribers to the M E Church of New Creek
built in 1870. The Church was built on the corner of North Main
Street and Center Streets.
JUNE 6TH, 1870
We the undersigned Subscribers bind ourselves to
pay to the building committee of the Methodist Episcopal Church at
New Creek Station composed of F R CARSKADON (he was Colonel's
father), JAS I BARRICK, JOSEPH RITZELL, JOHN M CULLIERS and WM R
PARIS the amount all hereto subscribe to be paid in installments as
required by said committee for the purpose of erecting a New Creek a
Methodist E. Church said building to be completed within Six Months.
